4.5m by 3m Large Garden Office Shed

This project was for a customer whose builder recommended us to them. Most of the measurements and specifications were taken from an architect’s drawings but we finalised them after discusssions with them.

The project is located near Riverside in Cambridge with very restricted access where we had to take everything down a narrow alley, which can be seen in one of the pictures. The customer wanted something to fit across the back of their garden with a combined use of office/studio togethert with a small storage shed to keep push bikes in. The bike store had to have 2 doors, one at the front and the other at the back allowing them to use the passageway.

This garden building has double glazed doors and windows, insulation in the office/studio in all the walls and ceiling and was plasterboarded throughout the office area. The roof was grey felt shingle tiles and a single layer of torch on felt and the whole building was painted with Cuprinol Garden Shades ‘Seagrass’.
