6m x 3m Black Barn Shed With a Ridge Height of 3m

This shed was made to to match the dimensions of a similar shed the customer already had. It is going to be used for storage but also has the option of being able to house sit on lawn mowers as the customer had a purpose made concrete base installed by their builders who were already on-site doing other works. We just had to supply the exact size and therefore no wooden floor was required.

We made the shed with upgraded framework of ex 75mm x 50mm at a maximum of 600mm centres. A breathable membrane is in between the framework and cladding. The cladding is ex 32mm x 175mm black barn board (European Spruce) which is used in barn conversions and the like.

The shed has a pair of double doors which are fixed with tower-bolts on the inside and a lock and key as requested by the customer. The shed has 2 single glazed windows with glass each side of the door. The roof is constructed with ply boards sitting on roof trusses, finished with a 2 layer felt system. A bitumen underlay felt is layed down and then we applied black-grey felt roofing shingles.
